In November of 2011 Luz was awarded The Latino De Oro award for her achievements in the Film Industry and her contributions to Latinos in Entertainment. Spring 2011 Luz Ramos will appear in ABC's "Body of Proof" she will be shooting an indie feature and will be the Executive Producer and Spokes person for the awareness campaign to save the Leatherback Turtle nesting sites in Puerto Rico

Luz Ramos also launched ESPN Deportes and holds the title of the first Puertorican woman to broadcast a live NFL game from the field of play for ESPN Deportes. She is also the first Puertorican woman to broadcast in spanish for Onion News Network. Luz has done over 100 industrial films and training videos, in both Spanish and English, and numerous voiceovers for clients.

She is an active member of SAG and AFTRA


In pre-prduction she has a web-series and TV show.
